Happy Women Empowerment Wednesday, Babes! This is becoming one of my favorite days because I absolutely love learning more about you and hearing your stories. Please keep sharing so this community can keep growing! This week’s question- what is one way you empower the women in your life?
As someone who is constantly chasing after dreams and stepping outside of my comfort zone, the amount of support and love I receive from family, friends, and even gals on Instagram literally means the world to me. It keeps me energized even when I’m feeling down, and I’m so grateful for each and every one of you. I strive to always return the good vibes and spread positivity. If you’re going for something, I will always be your biggest cheerleader and number one fan.
If you know a girl who is starting a blog – like and comment on her pictures. Share your favorites on your social media channels. Show her that her voice is being heard!
If your friend from high school is opening a boutique – visit and buy some clothes! Don’t ask for free product or a discount.
A new mom needs some time to herself? Offer to babysit, or to come over and help with the baby.
Maybe you heard about a new restaurant opening in town that is run by a boss babe who you’ve never met? Go out with some of your girlfriends and try the menu!
A co-worker is running a marathon? Make a donation or share the fundraising page others can contribute as well.
Your best friend is having a bad day? Call/text her and tell her she’s amazing and you love her. LISTEN to what is bothering her, and help build her up.
You get the point. There are so many ways to empower and support each other. While these are all different examples – there’s one common theme. I work to empower the women around me simply by being present for them and whatever they may need in that moment. At the end of the day, all that matters is that you show up. Be there for your friends and for the incredible women who come into your life. As a female entrepreneur and small business owner, I know that there is value in being supported. It is what fuels us and allows us to grow.
